This is the fine Academy kit of this late war Spitfire. This was the last
of the Spitfires
variants to serve in the war. This model depicts one with invasion
stripes. I like the
look of invasion stripes on planes of that era. The Academy kit is a
bargain and a
great value. The molding is crisp and the fit is excellent. Aeromaster
paints and kit
decals were used. Neat set of rocket understores. I only added seat belts
and some
interior details. An overall nice model of the Spit.
