A model of the classic P-40 Curtis warhawk. This model depicts the famous
Flying Tigers flown by the American volunteers under General Chenault
before America entered the war. I had to make one of these. I got lucky
and found a cheap early Academy kit with the markings I needed. The kit
was kinda primitive, but a little scratchbuilding made the cockpit a
little better and addition of seatbelts made it good to go. Aeromaster
paints and kit decals completed this kit.
