Another P-51 Mustang this one is the B model with the Malcolm style
canopy. This is the
famous Old Crow. It is based on the Academy kit. This is a great kit at a
great value. An
equal or better than more expensive kits. The molding is crisp and the
decals are very
good. Lots of underwing stores too. All I added was seatbelts and good to
go. I used
Aeromaster paints again. Stock decals except I painted the invasion
stripes rather than
used the decals. The B model was the first variant of the original Mustang
but the first
with the Merlin engine that made this plane so great. The later D model
had the bubble
canopy for better visibility.
